Chico Nannies

For 11 years, I have assisted my mother as a licensed daycare provider. I helped with the care of children ages 3 months to 7 years of age with the focus of learning and having fun. I learned the proper care for children of all ages and loved every minute of it! I have also been babysitting for families on weekends and evening for just as long. I love to be able to see children's faces light up when they realize that they have just learned something new and being able to share those moments with them is priceless. For the past four years, I have been a community 4-H leader, and helped children learn to raise and show livestock. It is a joy to me to teach children about raising animals, a chance that they may not have received in many other circumstances.

For as long as I can remember I have been around children. My mother was a foster parent during my childhood and I have been working as a professional nanny for over six years. I truely enjoy working with children! At present I work as a nanny for two families in Chico. I'm also a full time student at CSU Chico working towards my psychology degree. During my free time I would love to have the opportunity to babysit. I look forward to meeting you and your family!

I began working with children when I was 14 years old, volunteering at a local elementary school. It was there that I found my love of helping children learn and the joy of watching them grow. Since Volunteering I have been babysitting and working in daycare centers around the paradise and chico areas. I'm very experienced in the field of childcare and it has inspired me to go to college where I'm majoring in Child Development. Working with Children has taught me patience and helped me understand that every child is unique and special in their own way. I enjoy working with children of all different ages, from infants to early teens. I'm a very responsible babysitter and feel confident in nearly any situation.

I am a twenty year old college junior attending Chico State. At Chico State I plan on receiving my BA in Liberal studies, and moving on to the credential program next fall. I have been working with children for over nine years and truely love every minute of it. I was the local childcare provider for nearly all of my home town of Cloverdale. In high school I was a nanny for two young boys for two summers. My freshmen year I was an aid in a first grade classroom at Rosedale Elementary. I moved home for the summer after freshmen year and worked for Sonoma Office of Education as an aid in a special needs classroom. When I got back up to Chico I started working for Kings Christian Preschool. I worked in the afternoons with two to five year olds. I look forward to working with you and your children!

I am a recent graduate from Chico State. I majored in Health Ed. And nutrition. Taking care of children has always been a joy for me. For as long as I can remember I have done a lot of babysitting and truly enjoy it. I come from a fairly large family with 9 other siblings, me being the third child and oldest girl therefore always having a big role. As far as outside experience I spent several years babysitting for 2 families with children 3months to 8 years. My duties ranged form cooking, cleaning, and taking the kids to and from school, sports activities and homework. I have also worked in two childcare centers and had the opportunity to intern at a charter school here in Chico and work with the younger children. During this time I learned a lot about patience and how to work with children with different values beliefs and backgrounds. I have been an elite athlete for the past 4 years (a runner for the last 10) and I really value exercise and love teaching children the value of healthy diets and exercise.
